India Ditches Duty on Eco-Friendly Petrol Blends, Crude Oil Imports
In a bid to promote ethanol-blended petrol and reduce crude oil imports, the Centre has waived excise duty on 22-30% ethanol-blended petrol and crude oil imports. The move is expected to boost the ethanol market and reduce dependence on foreign oil.
